The general energies for his week are of change and justice.

Gemini—The universe has provided you with all the information you need regarding a partnership, and now you must make a decision. It probably won’t be a popular one, or one which meets the criteria of society, family, etc., but you know in your heart what is needed. Cancer—Even if there’s a brash person charging at you, forcing you to listen to what they have to say, stay balanced. Enjoy the outdoors, do some gardening. Leo—This could go two ways: either you or someone around you is on guard against gossip and backstabbing. There might even be spying involved, which is such bad karma. Aries—This would be a good time to look at how you spend your money. You are called to seek balance and see the truth in your situation. If you are in a partnership, there could be heartache around the corner, but this could also relate to business partnerships. Perhaps you trusted someone too much, or vice-verse. Again, it comes down to money, and freedom. How do you allow money to control your life, Aries? In a good way, or a bad way? Something new is coming in with creativity. If you are a writer, artist, or musician, go that route. There’s strength in it. 

Taurus—There is a relationship you need to move on from, and you may need outside counsel to improve or side step the negativity of others. The best thing to do is meditate on what your next action will be, and speak your truth. You have the ability to manifest great things in your work. Trust in your intuition—it leads you well.

Gemini—It’s time for you to see the truth in a partnership, whether love or business. Someone who lives life to the excess, who lies and depletes your strength, should be cut free. You know this, yet ignore the clear signals. Gemini, you have the ability to set things right, and say what must be said. In the past, this person affected your happiness, your finances and your health. Now is the time to get wise, and move on. If you receive an iffy message by week’s end, consider the source.

Cancer—You are bored and ready for action. This looks like a good week to go out with friends, and because you have been so good with balancing the books, why not? Do watch out for those who might use trickery to get what they want from you. Be fierce, be wise, and you will come out on top.

Leo—There will be some kind of upset at work this week, but you will quickly get over it with a good attitude and faith in a positive outcome. The Universe says you’ve already been through the worst, and the best is still to come. Remember that. If those around you can’t make a decision, and their indecisiveness is driving you nuts, let it go. Stick to the tried and true, and release what didn’t work in the past. When the chaos clears, you’ll have a fresh start, a lighter load, and perhaps even a better option with more money involved.

Virgo—It’s time to look back at any past mistakes, not to judge yourself, but to see what served your highest good and what did not. If you have any addictions that leave you feeling more chained that free, time to let them go. Who controls who? What more are you willing to give to feed that addiction? In other words, are you willing to sacrifice more of yourself to something that never gave you a feeling of well being or happiness in the first place? You have a beautiful opportunity to make a new start and break free. Go back to a childlike joy and stay there for awhile. You can always start over.

Libra—There is an opportunity in your life that you’re not sure about currently. Emotionally, you’re ready to move on from this work or family struggle, however, allowing things to remain the way they are isn’t a good idea. Face up to them. You want a victory at work, but it’s slow to appear. There might be a fire-sign male in your life (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) with their own, not so justified, agenda. Keep an eye out for them, and also, don’t let anyone ruin your dreams of maintaining a happy home. If something must be said, then say it. The sooner you do, the quicker you’ll go back to normal.

Scorpio—Deception in love. Deception in the home. Scorpio, either you or someone else is busy sneaking around and acting the fool. There is a lack of support in a partnership, and an uneven distribution of power. Could there be a fire-sign woman involved? Whatever the case, it’s time to end the cycle and make a choice. The truth must emerge. Make responsible decisions for yourself, and the other people involved.

Sagittarius—You’re willing to make an offer to someone in the hopes that all will go back to status quo, but perhaps you asserted your power far too much for that to actually happen. Or someone is asserting their power over you. You can’t make people do what you want, or manipulate their feelings. Things are way out of balance. Someone’s up, then someone’s down. Someone’s the winner, then the loser. The problem is, who really holds the true power? Winning isn’t everything, and sometimes what we really want is not what we actually need. Let go of control and allow things to happen as they should, not only for the other person, but for yourself as well.

Capricorn—You may have had a gut feeling about some underhanded behavior going on around you, and you were right. But you don’t know everything. For all the bad, there’s also a great deal of good about to come into your life. Trust in that. But first, it’s time to see the truth about someone who says they love you, but who also feels love can be handed out buffet-style (to him, her, and them). You don’t have to put up with a cheater. And if it’s you, Capricorn, remember that good actions and bad actions circulate on the wheel of life. What you give, bad or good, you will eventually receive.

Aquarius—It’s time to step back and assess the situation. Someone’s angry and they want answers. They rush in, then they rush out leaving confusion and chaos. No one likes a party crasher, especially a life crasher. Keep an eye out, but do everything you can to side-step their egoistic behavior. You have everything you need to move forward, because truly the worst is over. Aquarius you are wise and the one from which the water of life pours forth. Stay enlightened, stay balanced. Don’t let the foolhardy naysayers wreck your life party. Focus on your strengths, and let Mr. or Mrs. Speed Demon self-destruct on their own clock.

Pisces—This week you are all about seeking justice, but make sure you’re the one being just. There is an element of ‘my way or the highway’ here, with you asserting your strength to anyone who might oppose your views. The good news is, you’re getting out of a period of low energy, the bad news is you’re not listening to your inner voice. Don’t be foolish with the way you deal with those you love, Pisces. And, vice-verse, don’t let them fool you. It goes both ways. Remember to get your work done and seek victory in the joy of the craft, not the recognition or financial benefits. By week’s end, take a moment to step back and assess the magnificent work you’ve done.

The week of June 29th:

Aries—You may start the week feeling like you’re ready to knock down anyone who dominates in a relationship. Finances may be tight, and partnerships in business or love might not be in the best of standings. Take some time to ground yourself: go outside, take in a nature walk, do some gardening. Enjoy the simple things. This is a good week for creative projects.

Taurus—Right now you are feeling stressed over relationships, and money. It’s time to balance the books and let go of the past. If someone has been deceiving you in love, truth and justice will come in. Emotionally, you’ve already dealt with the heartache and are ready to move on. Getting to a particular goal has been a heavy load, but you’re almost there. Don’t give up!

Gemini—You are being guided to a well-starred outcome from past troubles. Even if justice hasn’t yet been served to those who might have deceived you over money, or love, a brighter day is coming. You will feel the weight of past stresses lighten, and by the end of the week you have a new plan that will serve you well.

Cancer—This week you are feeling overburdened and tired. Perhaps someone in your life, the controlling sort, is partying too much, and, is it possible there’s a third wheel in the mix? In addition, you may feel that the money you’ve been waiting on is too slow in coming. But the wheels of fortune are still turning. Take some time this week to get out and enjoy life. The world is in your hands and a beautiful influence from the universe wishes to sweep you away to a happier, and much healthier, existence. Justice will come in terms of money. There’s a fresh start when it comes to handling your finances, that is, if you don’t waste it all on the ‘good life.’ The only thing that comes from gluttony is a heavy gut. Rein it in. Also, in terms of love, let go a little bit. Okay, a lot. Someone is ready to give you a tongue thrashing, an air-sign, and this time you might have to listen.

A Split

This is frustrating. The problems I've been having with a hacker are now, I believe, affecting other people. If you know me, you know that when it comes to others being affected, I get really upset. And the other less important issue out of all this is that someone might think I'm the hacker. This is so crazy. Yes, I have put legal disclaimers everywhere, and yes, I have spoken to the person I feel might be at fault. But apparently nothing has changed because the guilty party doesn't care. That's all I'm going to say about that from a personal standpoint.

It does lead to an interesting topic though—why are some people so rotten, and other people so conscientious? Why does such a wide rift of goodness exist in our society? Like drivers on a road, we all need to trust each other, and yet when that trust is decayed by someone's less than positive actions, you become a driver on permanent guard and the world turns into a dark and dangerous place. What an unhealthy way to live, right? And yet, there are times when being on guard is the most positive action to take.

Last night I received the I Ching: Splitting Apart. Quite a dramatic reading, to be honest. It basically says that when there is corruption it is best to lie low and allow the negative forces (and people) to burn themselves out, much like a farmer burns a 'dead' field in order to regenerate the soil. We live in a society where when something bad happens we run and yell, when in reality sometimes it's best to be silent, find shelter and wait. I know, it sounds like victim mentality, however, what does one do in a raging battle? Run into the line of fire while waving a red flag? We all know that would be stupid. If the enemy is closing in, you don't run into action, you form a protective barrier while also finding a means of escape.

These are confusing times, and my problems are most likely a reflection of much bigger problems the rest of the world is facing. Meditation and contemplation will always be the best means of dealing with a tricky issue, as well as being on guard and putting up limitations. How interesting that these ancient texts still resonate for so many of us today.

Dreams

I find it somewhat difficult to remember my dreams upon waking up each morning. My eyes open, life churns into action. Animals, kids, coffee, school. Dream forgotten. That's not unusual—most people are too busy to remember what they dreamed about the night before, and most feel it unnecessary to pick the imagery apart and apply the meanings to everyday existence. In a spiritual sense, dreams are a time of healing, a time to connect with the invisible realm, and also a time to dredge and address the issues we often push under the rug in our wake state. The symbolism, though often too surreal to comprehend, reflects that which we fear and which also can be our biggest asset, similar to the way tarot forces us to see our weaknesses and strengths.

Last night I had a dream that I was traveling by car to an unknown location. It felt like a work trip,  maybe doing book readings, or playing music. I pulled into a small town and decided to stop at a meek-looking hotel, which actually turned out to be a lot grander on the inside. It had an oasis feel to it: ferns hanging from the ceiling, brass and gold accents, a water feature, leather chairs with people lounging around with drinks in their hands. I checked in and went to find my room on the second floor, but my 'room' turned out to be a tiny bed in a closet—with no door. Not good. Not only that, but suddenly my daughter shows up and I have to find a bed for her as well, and I certainly can't have her sleeping in a closet! So, we go back down to the lobby where I demand an actual room with an actual bed. No problem. But instead of a key, they give me a piece of paper with a gold stamp on it. Fancy. I'm excited about it, because any room that needs a gold stamp must be really nice. However, before going back upstairs, I run into Pat Sajak. Yes, that's right. The game show host. I'm really excited and I tell him that he's a funny guy, like Johnny Carson funny, which takes him off guard and makes him blush a bit. That's when I notice his face is covered with a map—I see little town markers and names and lines running over his forehead, which probably stand for highways.

Then I wake up.

At first it upsets me that I'll never get to see that fancy room, but later on after drinking some coffee, I realize I've been getting the World card a lot lately along with the Wheel of Fortune card. What game show does Pat Sajak host?

Should I be planning for a trip in the near future? We shall see.

In Time

Most people grow up with the belief that some are intuitive, and most others are not. That's actually not true. All of us are born with the ability, but we seldom use it. It really is like a muscle that needs to be worked out and built up. In time, the act of trusting your gut will yield a more powerful ability to sense both good and bad around you. On the other hand, a person can be incredibly intuitive yet unable to accept what is coming through about certain people or situations in their life. It's a matter of perspective—the closer you are, the more difficult it is to comprehend all aspects. When that happens, it's always best to step back, be still, and ask the Universe for guidance. You will receive the help that you need.

The I Ching

I pull an I Ching message at least once every day, usually in the morning, and find that it's quite accurate to whatever situation I'm going through. I Ching (ee-ching) is an ancient Chinese divination using six lines of random numbers which build into a hexagram. Because the numbers are random, you receive a unique message each time, but again, very relevant on a personal level. Unlike tarot where you use intuition and surrounding cards to derive a meaning, the I Ching provides an instant text that corresponds to the hexagram.

I pulled one this morning, 21: Cutting Through. Very accurate to my situation. I've had someone block my texts, emails, phone calls. They're pretty much trying to block me from progress in life, and they do show up in my tarot readings daily as a negative force. It was interesting yesterday how my spread showed me moving ahead in life on an emotional level, and there were three cards representing my 'hacker' (the seven of swords, the page of swords, the night of swords) and they were all facing the other way. Interesting. Needless to say, the stress of this has caused nausea, body aches, sleepless nights, fear, panic attacks. I'm just about at my last rope. But anyway, I'm not going to elaborate any more than that.

This paragraph caught my attention in particular, as I had a dream the other night in which I heard the phrase, "Quick decisive action."

Those who bring discipline to bear must, above all, be honest — with others, and with themselves. Honesty is the hallmark of the strong and self-confident. The successful person masters the art of honesty much as a swordsman masters fencing. When lies, delusions and game-playing are getting in the way of teamwork, a swift sword of honest action, perhaps even punishment, must be wielded to protect one’s integrity and values. Decisiveness with integrity at a time like this brings good fortune.

It will never make sense when other people inflict harm upon us. It is nice to know that the Universe wants to offer guidance and love in times of chaos and pain.
