Tarotscope for Scorpio, 2015

Scorpio 2015

Four of Swords—In January, dear Scorpio, you may find that the stresses of 2014 continue to weigh heavily on your shoulders. There’s no shame in taking some time off for a well-needed rest. Treat yourself to a day at the spa or a night out on the town. If you’re worried someone might get a one up on you at work, keep a cell phone close so you don't feel like you're missing anything important. But drama? Who has time for that! Not you. You got this. You’re on the right path, you’re doing the right thing. Sometimes it’s just more important to take a little time to enjoy the more relaxing things life has to offer.

Ace of Swords—With rest comes clarity, and renewed vision. In February it’s time to move ahead with full determination. Whatever it is you’re focused on (job, home, relationship) you’ve come from a place of deep introspection—maybe you even took some time to recall what made you happy as a child—and now the Universe is ready to sprinkle a little magic dust to gild all those fabulous dreams of yours. Let it.

Four of Pentacles—What’s love got to do with it, Scorpio? A lot, apparently. You’re deep in emotion, so deep you feel imprisoned. You hold tight, you struggle, and all you can see is what you’ll lose, not what you had or what’s left to gain. It’s time to let go and trust. True love always sticks around—or comes with you on the beautiful journey called life. If it's meant to be . . .

Two of Swords—In April you know what you want, but there’s an inner conflict. Does everything you desire really have to be locked up behind a golden door? Conditions are perfect to manifest exactly what you want, Scorpio, if only you can battle those inner demons and believe.

Knight of Rods—Is there a fiery man (or woman) in your life that is all talk and action? In May when the clouds are full of rain, you’ll notice life becomes a million times brighter when this special person comes around. He makes you happy, he makes you dream of a wonderful future. Dream? This guy, or gal, just might have the ability to make it so.

Nine of Pentacles—Life is full of opulence in June. Beautiful flowers, delicious food, the best of the best. At least that’s how you see it, and why not? If you feel like royalty on the inside, expect the outside to follow along. It’s because you’ve worked so hard, dear Scorpio, and you deserve it.

Wheel of Fortune—Even in the best of situations, there’s trouble to be found. You can ignore all that, but better yet, why not find a way to face your problems straight on? In July, take charge of trouble and show it to the door. Tomorrow you’ll be on top again.

Four of Cups—In August you’re wondering if things can get better. They can. Someone’s about to make you an offer of Heavenly proportions. Will you take it? If the decision is too overwhelming, take a little time to consider all facets of the situation. Then, dear Scorpio, go for it!

The Devil—You knew this was coming. It twisted your gut and made all the blessings of the recent past take on a verdigris tarnish. In September your thoughts may turn to difficult issues of family or love. If someone has you under their control and you feel as if all you ever do is hold ground (and just barely), then maybe it’s time to reconsider what is healthy and what is downright sick. Love isn’t always easy, Scorpio, but shouldn't it at least make you feel good?

The High Priestess—In October you need to take heed of those little ‘knowing’ signals you get whenever you think about or come near a certain individual. You know who they are, and you know that this is not the time to lower your guard. Take heed, Scorpio. If it feels like a lie, it’s probably a lie.

Queen of Rods—A fire-sign woman (or man) is turning out to be just what you wanted—and needed. She’s independent, energetic, and most importantly, she makes you laugh. In November, when things start to look a little dreary, you’ll find someone who brings you friendship . . . or love. Or maybe even both.

Ten of Rods—In December, it could be that you’re close to something wonderful, but the finish line hasn’t yet come into sight. You know it’s there, and that you’re close. So why give up? The answer is: don’t.  Carry that heavy load, Scorpio. It's leading you to something wonderful. You’re stronger than you think!

In conclusion, 2015 looks to be the year Scorpio shows how strong they really are. Introspective, deep, intelligent—you are one of the most resilient signs of the zodiac. You show ultimate wisdom and intuition. Your soul runs deep. Remember to take time to connect with nature, whether life is at its highest peak of greatness or lowest pinnacle of frustration. Remember to breathe and come back to your center. In doing so, you'll find a strength once hidden and now undeniable.

I hope you have a wonderful year, Scorpio! Peace.

Symbols

Today as I took my daily walk around the park, I saw a white feather on the path and then later a bird that had died, the color of black. I've seen the bird numerous times and always felt a sort of sadness and gloom, gloom because in the past they have symbolized to me unfortunate events coming in the near future. Of course, now I know through tarot that a symbol of death is never a bad omen so much as an indicator of coming change. Rebirth. Today I saw the white feather, and it was a reminder that I was protected by the angels and all things of the Divine. Many people miss or brush these off as coincidental or insignificant, but for me they are reminders of the very things I've been coming across in my spreads. I can be quite insecure about my own readings, tacking the cards off as, "Well, that probably won't come to pass," or "I was influencing the reading with my own negativity." The reason I, and others, do this is denial and fear.

So, speaking of change, how do you explain these things to the other people in your peripheral, such as family members, loved ones and friends? It's not going to come across very well to explain that you've been told one karmic situation has been completed and the next must be embarked upon. They will, most likely, call you crazy. And I do understand that. But here's the thing, in my experience the cards are not revealing any great secrets. The things they tell you, you already know. And other people know as well. I know deep in the marrow that I've changed drastically and can no longer pretend I am the same person as two years ago. I feel it. I live it. But that emotional chain is so strong—invisible as it may be. That old adage a father would tell to his child: 'If you really love it, you'll set it free,' doesn't seem to apply to humans. We think we own each other. The problem is, the Universe does not work in the same manner, and in fact abhors ownership. When it knows someone has reached and completed a karmic cycle, it will do everything to enact change, even if that person (and the people they are involved with) insist on holding on.

To the Universe, life is a river. It goes one direction, and one direction only. It does not stop, back up and turn the other way. It does not fight the current. It flows. It is completely unnatural to the spirit world to go against the current of change. Repeating the same karmic cycle over and over again is stupid and stressful and like a million pounds of gravity strapped to the chest. The Universe will find a way to make things happen, be it drastic change or minimal change. But there will be change.

So, a white feather and a dead bird were put in my path to remind me that stubborn is stupid, and change is the flow of life. If you are reading this, you're probably supposed to think about it too.

Tarotscope for Sagittarius, 2015

Sagittarius 2015

The Fool—No one puts Baby in a corner, right Sagittarius? That includes the way you think, the way you act, and where (and how) you want to work. This January, break free from tradition and do something that truly makes you feel happy, and a little bit unconventional.

The Empress—If someone were to describe perfection, it would be spending an entire day in nature with the person you love. The forest, an old dirt road, tending the garden. You love Mother Earth, and she loves you! In February, it may be cold outside, but there’s a lush and beautiful meadow in your heart.

Queen of Pentacles—In March, you are either dealing with an earth-sign woman, or a money matter. Or both. Something has been taken away, and—I’m sorry to say, Sagittarius—you may never get back whatever was taken (your heart, your cash) in full. The best you can do is speak your mind and let it go. Leave the rest for karma.

The Hanged Man—If an old issue is weighing you down, Sagittarius, the best thing to do is count your blessings and wait for better days. Who says you have to be miserable? Who says you can’t have a small get-together—even if it’s just you and one or two close friends? In April, take the time to celebrate the best of what (and who) you have. Probably more than you know!

Nine of Pentacles—Most people think of harvest as being in the fall, but for you, dear Sagittarius, it comes in the spring. Every blossom and blade of grass feeds your soul, stocks your senses, and fills the pantry of your existence. In May, not only will you be re-introduced to your old friend Mother Earth, but you will have the kind of success in business that allows you the time, and peaceful frame of mind, to enjoy it!

Wheel of Fortune—If life were a Ferris wheel, you would be that one unlucky person to get stuck two cars from the bottom every single time. In the month of June, you will finally get the chance to spin upwards to the top. If it’s love or relationships, things will be grand. The view is splendid, and not a cloud is in sight.

Nine of Rods—Okay, so the wheel went up, and the wheel came down. Life is like that sometimes. But you are strong and can hold off any opposing forces. If it’s gossip, family drama, or someone close to your heart, remember that it’s not always about you. It’s about other people learning the art of personal space and respect. Tell them that you need it, lots of it, and if they can’t give it to you, you might just walk out the door.

Seven of Rods—The battle rages on and on. In August, it might be time to ask yourself just how long you’re willing to fight, and how much you’re willing to lose. Sometimes we fight for things and issues that are worth much less than the effort. Is it truly worth it?

Death—One thing about death is, it’s never death. It’s always rebirth. So, if there is a situation this September that feels like it has come to an end, perhaps it’s time to step back and let it happen. Whatever passes may yet return to you fresh and new, and gloriously better. Don’t stand in the way of change. Embrace it.

Eight of Pentacles—By allowing the old to transform into the new, Sagittarius, you have opened the doors for hope and opportunity. You were hobbling around in old boots, afraid to get your socks wet, and now you own a fresh clean pair and can walk anywhere you want. In October, the world’s your oyster!

The High Priestess—Something tells life me is about to get too good to believe. Suddenly all the right things are going your way. Any blocks and dead ends are now gone. Why? Because you’re a good person, Sagittarius. You are kind to people, and you do things with your heart, not with your wallet. In November, the Universe would like reward you. So, don’t rub your eyes and question why, open your arms and answer, yes.

Two of Rods—In December, you’re going to get a present that can’t be wrapped. There isn’t a bow big enough to top it off. It’s just so huge and wonderful that you might walk right past it without even knowing it’s yours. For you. It may be love, or work, or both. Believe, Sagittarius. Believe, and be grateful.

In 2015, Sagittarius, there will be some days where you feel vulnerable and ready to flee whatever has you bound. It’s okay to break free, as long as you know what it is you’re were meant to learn from the situation before leaving. If you refuse to learn, you’ll have to do it over again and again . . . And as for vulnerability, embrace it. Don’t scorn it. Your softer side is your greatest asset, and eventually, will bring you many blessings.

Happy 2015! Peace.

Tarotscope for Libra, 2015

Libra 2015

Five of Pentacles—In January, dear Libra, you may feel as if the world is on one side of a wall, and you’re on the other. On the one side is joy and happiness; music and an abundance of love. On your side, nothing but soda tabs and spent cigarettes. Perhaps you’re feeling as if there’s not enough love, and it could be that a union you once enjoyed has crumbled into ruins. You could wallow forever, or you could take stock of all the wonderful things, and people, that you do still have in your life.

Five of Rods—In February, you’re struggling to make something happen, but it’s evolving in its own time without any regards to your own. Perhaps it’s your destiny you wish to control, but things are moving slowly. Remember, Libra, good things come to those who wait.

Page of Cups—It’s March and the grass is getting greener, the days longer, but languishing in nature is the last thing you care to do. Matters of the heart have put a cloud over your head and all you can see is a dark, muddy existence. Someone is acting young and irresponsible, and you are considering leaving for good. There’s been too much heartache, stress, deception and loneliness. Libra, no one would blame you if you walked out that door.

Three of Rods—In April, there are new opportunities to explore. Creativity is available, and a fresh start too. It may not be easy at first, but if you make the effort, there’s a chance for wonderful new growth!

Seven of Pentacles—Do you ever feel that you’re not getting what you deserve, Libra? That other people who work much less than you get more recognition for their miserly efforts? Well, the month of May could bring the rewards you so seek (and have earned through considerable effort). The point is, you’re good at what you do, and the Universe has decided to let you know.

Eight of Pentacles—June could well turn out to be one of those months where you not only get to do what you love, but find prosperity as a result. Now isn’t that a nice way to exist?

Queen of Rods—In July, there’s a fire-sign woman who would like to assist you on the road to success. This is all about female power, journeys, and far off destinations. She sees much more in you than you could ever dream of. Maybe take some time to listen to her ‘bourgeois’ brainstorming. There just might be some fantastic truth in the ideas she entertains.

Ace of Pentacles—Libra, this August you are, quite literally, on top of the world! If a grand opportunity, especially one of the financial sort, presents itself, do yourself a favor and take it! The thing is, your angels and spirit guides have done a lot of work to make it happen and they will continue to assist you through any troubles along the way. Instead of questioning why me, for just this once, ask yourself . . . why not me?

Temperance—In September you might come upon a situation where you feel confined. Work, home, friendship . . . if there’s something that has you feeling stuck, take some time to ponder if there’s an escape route, and if so, ask yourself whether or not you should consider taking it.

King of Swords—October is your birth month, Libra, so it’s no surprise you’d make an appearance in your very own reading! You are smart, balanced, fair-minded, and creative. Use this month to recharge from any past difficulties, and just celebrate the wonderfulness of being you!

The Fool—November asks you to make a fresh start with any endeavors you wish to explore. Every morning is a new chance for greatness. Every night is a culling of what didn’t work, so that what did can cultivate and thrive. Be brave and fearless, Libra!

Queen of Pentacles—No one knows how to balance work, home and pleasure like you. December may well be one of those months where your greatest asset is put to the test. An earth-sign female (or male) might come into your life. Will you put their advances off in lieu of end-of-year work projects or maybe some last minute shopping? Is there time in your life for love, dear Libra? No matter what, or who, lands on your list of activities, you’ll manage quite well.

Libra, you have the power to adapt to any circumstance. Like a cloud, you can shift and change according to whichever way the wind blows. You also have many blessings, both seen and unseen. In 2015, have faith that life will move fluid and easy!

Happy 2015, Libra. Peace!

Tarotscope for Virgo, 2015

Virgo 2015

Six of Pentacles—You open the year with a nice promotion at work and/or financial recognition for a job well done. You are in complete harmony with all that you do and it’s starting to show. An additional card was the Six of Rods. In fact, this entire reading is crowned by the number six. It means victory, movement, and being in the right place and the right time. Good for you, Virgo! What a way to start the year!

The World—Think big. How far would you go if the chance presented itself? A mile, a few miles, another city . . . another country? Or perhaps your work will reach a new demographic. An opportunity such as this will come about in the month of February. Lucky you!

Six of Swords—Sometimes the urge to get up and run tickles the soles of your feet. In March, you might just get the chance to fulfill the wanderlust that lives and breathes inside of you. It could be overseas; it could be in the same town but at a different residence. Pack your things, Virgo.

Five of Swords—Sometimes when life gets exciting, the doubt settles in. Am I good enough? Do I deserve this? In April, dear Virgo, you may find yourself asking too many questions, and second-guessing your every motive. Things start, and then just stop. You’re not sure if you can do this. Well, you can.

The High Priestess—When it comes to money, you’re not frivolous. When other people are trading their Friday afternoon paycheck for Friday night delights, you’re divvying yours into several online accounts. In May, an issue might come up concerning your finances. Watch out for any scams that might come your way. If it sounds too good to be true, Virgo, it most likely is. Use your intuition about the matter, and you’ll be just fine.

Strength—No one can say you aren’t savvy. You work hard and you take care of every detail in the most meticulous way. In June, all that you do will be solid and secure, just the way you like it.

Temperance—In July, your business acumen will be traded for matters of love. Sometimes a relationship can bring us pain, sometimes pleasure, but it’s worth the effort if both of you devote yourself to the cause. This can go two ways, Virgo. Someone might break your heart, or maybe you’re the one wielding the first sword. Either way, take it easy. See both sides if you can.

The Hanged Man—In August you feel like you need a vacation. You’ve just about worked yourself to death, and things seem to be moving so . . . slow. If there are projects you’re waiting on, or that can be put aside, why not take a vacation? This would be the month to do it.

Ten of Rods—It’s already been said that you’re a hard worker, Virgo. When other people are slacking off, you’ve already finished the day’s objectives. But sometimes that steely application can get the best of you. Look, the result you want is in sight, so it’s not a matter of if, it’s just a matter of when. Do you want to stress yourself out over this, or actually enjoy what you’re doing—at least, enough to parlay some of that backache and Excedrin inducing drive that you possess? In September, I suggest you chant these words during your morning shave: I am not Superman. I am not Superman.

The Hierophant—In October it’s important for you to remember what those little sign posts along the road are all about, you know, the ones that say: Speed Limit and Stop. Sometimes you drive too fast and you fool yourself that you’re not going to get caught. This is not the month to be reckless, Virgo, in love or on the road. Watch your actions!

Six of Cups—You always want to be someplace better than the place you are now, and in some ways, you want everything to be just the way things used to be. There’s a major dichotomy in what you want, Virgo, yet settling isn’t a word you particularly enjoy. In November, you can still have the past and the future and stick them smack dab into what you have now. It’s called, inner calm. It’s also called, acceptance.

The Tower—In December, something’s going to rattle you, Virgo. If you have any inkling of what it is, the effect will be easier to deal with. If you’ve been insisting that life is perfect, the shockwave will knock you off your feet. Be grateful for your life and the people you share it with. Don’t live in glass abodes. Always have an escape plan. But more than anything, know that the Universe only gives us what we need. Whether large scale, or model scale, this is doable and you will survive.

So, 2015 will have its good moments and its not-so-good moments, but through it all you will remain vigilant. If something seems off, your gut will send a warning signal. If anyone tries to pull the wool over your eyes, you’ll brush them aside. And when it comes to opportunity, you not only will receive them, but create them. It’s all in your hands, Virgo!

I wish you a Happy 2015. Peace!

Tarotscope for Leo, 2015

Leo 2015

The Emperor—The year may have started fresh and new like a clean handkerchief, but there’s old crud to deal with, dear Leo. You might find yourself once again dealing with a tyrant, a dictator. He thinks he knows best, and he wants to keep you under his gold-threaded wraps. But only you know what’s right and what you must no longer put up with. It’s only a matter of time before one of you sees the truth (and pays their karmic debt).

Ten of Swords—Leo, Leo, if there were more than ten swords to put in your back, a water-sign male wouldn’t feel one bit bad about doing it. You can’t win this battle. Take what you can, and find a way to escape. This is as bad as it can get. In February find peace and seek higher ground. You don’t deserve this.

Nine of Cups—The universe wants to send you a message, Leo. You can. You will. It’s all possible. This March, find the time to manifest your deepest, most heartfelt desire. What if it really came true? And worse, what if you didn’t even try . . .

Seven of Cups—Things are a little foggy, a little gray. It’s April and storms will come and go. Storms always bring flowers. Have you ever thought about going somewhere, Leo? If so, it could be great. The greatest. Don’t let anyone talk you out of it, or block your way. This is doable. You were meant for greener, and sunnier, pastures.

Three of Pentacles—In May, it’s possible that whatever you’ve crafted from pure, delicious inspiration, will be discovered and admired. What a nice change!

Two of Pentacles—It’s all about balance, Leo. In June, you might find yourself tackling more than one project at a time. Finances are tricky and you’re not sure if you can withstand the pressure. But they do call you the Lion after all. You’re tough, you’re tenacious. I say you’ll make it work.

Five of Rods—If you carry a heavy object but can see the destination, you’re probably going to make it. You will make it. You’ve made it this far, and no matter how long the path, how heavy the load, you’re going to reach your destination. Don’t quit. In the end, the payoff will be spectacular. This July, your birth month, is all about proving the impossible. And you will.

Eight of Pentacles—When you concentrate on something you love doing, the end result doesn’t even matter. In August, it’s as if you are on a cloud of your own, and the money you earn falls like rain. Plink, plink.

The Lovers—Sometimes love is the good kind, sometimes bad. If it takes too much work, and there’s nothing but heartache to show for it, it’s probably the latter. In September, you might find yourself dealing with a person whose romantic intentions leave more arrows than air kisses. Watch out!

Five of Pentacles—Out in the cold again? Wishing you had what he has, and she has, and they have? If you walk past a restaurant window and see filet mignon and lobster bisque, it might make you feel destitute. So walk past a McDonald’s once in a while. There, now you’re king.

The Magician—Remember when Ron Weasley had to use a broken wand and Hermione was forced to follow behind, fixing all his messed-up spells? If life feels a little wonky, remember that you do have the power to ‘Hermione’ yourself into some excellent magic, Leo. This November, it’s all possible.

Ace of Wands—You are a star, Leo. But then, you already knew that. In December, you have the Universe behind you in the most wonderful way. You could write the world’s next best song, a best-selling novel, or maybe you’ll beat Glenda out of the top spot at the next Avon marketing meeting. It’s fire, it’s now, and it’s perfect for someone like you. Think big.

So, Leo, 2015 was a huge year for you. All the Major Arcana cards tell me something important: your evolution from downtrodden to awesome is destined to be. It’s in the Universe’s hands, and they will make it happen. So . . . try not to fight too hard along the way.

Have a wonderful 2015! Peace.

Tarotscope for Cancer, 2015

Cancer 2015

Queen of Pentacles—In the month of January, Cancer might well be languishing in things luxurious and abundant. Bath oils, nice clothing, gift cards for their favorite restaurant. Or perhaps they are reaping the rewards of a home-based business. It’s a time of being grounded and seeing the rewards of good ideas, good effort, and just anything  . . . good!

Ace of Pentacles—If you thought it couldn’t get better, you were wrong. In February, Cancer will once again be hauling in the swag. Aces are seeds of prosperity, but they can also be the windfall of something desired. Maybe it’s money you want, or a fresh start in life. Aces can also be secret wishes of the soul. Like, a healthy salad instead of a greasy burger. The Universe knows what you want and what you need, and this month, you’ll get it.

Death (Transformation)—March brings the end of something you’d grown all-too-comfortable with. Your life was looking like a worn-out couch, and sometimes action is needed. Maybe a relationship has gone far past its shelf date? It started a long time ago and has ingrained itself deep into your veneer. But is it really serving you the way it should? Does it still bring vitality to your existence? If not, then it’s time to wake up and break free from the chrysalis.

Knight of Wands—In April, there’s a new idea sizzling like a Fourth of July sparkler inside Cancer’s beautiful heads. They want to present it to the world, but must make sure it’s grounded in reality. They want it to work out, not fizzle out. If it’s about romance, Cancer would be well advised to take some time before committing themselves to any decision. This knight dashes in and out with the same speed as a bolt of lightning. Either way, it’s better to think now and act later.

Six of Swords—Someone’s planning on taking a trip in the month of May, a journey. It may be actual, or emotional, but if it leads to calmer waters, it’s a trip they must embark on. What remains that you haven't yet learned, Cancer?

The Star—There’s something sparkly about you. Luminescent. Is it the way you pose, like Marilyn Monroe under a theater marquee, or just an ‘otherworldly’ charm that can’t be explained? Whatever it is, Cancer, in June everything about you is radiant and beautiful. It’s heavenly.

Judgement—In July, the doors will open toward new possibilities, and it’s up to you if you want to cross through, or stay behind. Some people prefer learning life’s lesson over and over. Some prefer trying out newer avenues. Old lesson, new lesson? It’s up to you to decide. Anyone for leftovers?

Four of Cups—In August you might feel a little snoozy, Cancer. You’ve been taking in the sun, languishing in the waves, and now it’s time for a little nap. But wait, an opportunity that might benefit you shows up, and it’s good. What are you going to do? Take that nap, or reach for the cup of life?

Three of Cups—This card often stands out to me as a mother and her children, and all the happy times they’ve had together. If you have children, this is a reminder to enjoy the bonds you share—bonds that can never be broken in any eternal way. If it’s not about children, dear Cancer, maybe it’s friendship you cherish, or a joining of like minds in your community. Or maybe someone’s getting, or attending, a wedding. Could it be yours?

Seven of Cups—In September, there might be an array of choices at your disposal. What is it you really want, Cancer? Take some time to consider each one, but don’t let it confuse you. You might be experiencing some psychic ability. Or creative impulse. Each cup overflows with promise. Close your eyes and let it bloom.

Eight of Swords—If someone blindfolded you, led you into an elevator and spun you around, would you know how to get out when the doors opened? A door will open, Cancer. In October, you might be feeling a little trapped by someone, or something. But there is a way out.

King of Swords—Some people cut with steel, some with words. Words can be seen as swords—they leave internal scars. In December, you might deal with a man who can yield his words like razor-sharp objects. But maybe you prefer that. The truth is always better than lies. His message might be internal—your instinct is in fine form! If this is a real person in your life, he’s found a way to cut deep into the dark, pulsing sanctuary of your heart. It’s up to you if you want to let him in.

Cancer, your year looks to be full of success, love and spiritual growth. I’d say it’s almost perfect! Don’t be afraid to move on with every new level that presents itself. Take time to listen to your internal voice. It’s a goldmine!

Happy 2015, Cancer. Peace.

Tarotscope for Gemini, 2015

Gemini 2015

Page of Wands—It’s a new year, a new month, and in January Gemini is looking at the world with a fresh set of irises. New ideas, new hopes, new business ventures. Full of innocence and vitality, Gemini is ready to dive into whatever comes their way.

Ace of Cups—In February, the newness continues on a grand scale. Ace’s are all about fresh starts, and cups are about love and emotions, so Gemini might be looking at an influx of creativity and perhaps the birth of a new relationship.

Judgement—There comes a time when we all must be judged, sometimes it’s by the people around us, and sometimes it’s on a grand, karmic, scale. How have you treated others in the past? Have you been kind or selfish? Your past actions will come back to haunt or reward you. Gemini, in the month of March, I’d say you’re about to reap the benefits of all the good you’ve done, not the bad. And anyone who’s done you wrong, look out!

Six of Rods—It’s April, and they’re holding a parade in your honor. That’s how much they love you. Who? The Divine. They want to shower you with all that’s good, so let them, Gemini. In matters of career, you are the victor. You deserve this. In matters of love too . . .

Two of Cups—In May, Gemini, it’s all about love, love, love. What was that Beatles song again? All you need is . . . ? You get the point. Or perhaps it’s friendship—another kind of love, and just as important. The emphasis is two. Me and you. Or you and him. Or her. Again, it’s all you need.

The Hermit—Sometimes we need to be alone after all the celebration. In June, sit outside and consider the roses, the daylilies, the swaying grass, the whistling wind. Maybe you’ll hear the voice of an angel, or other invisible guardians from the other side. The do like to speak to you every once in a while. So, take some time to sit still, and listen.

Ten of Swords—What’s this? An end, or a beginning . . . It’s up to you, Gemini. In July, you might find yourself dealing with some old, painful truths. Is there trouble with family, money, work? Have you given too much of yourself, and now it’s time for a vacation? Or maybe you took the vacation, and all the money is dwindling to nothing. Remember what vacations are for—escape. Think about the money later. Have fun now.

Three of Wands—Back at work (office or home) and things are going well. It’s August, and someone’s just left a five-star review for your book on Amazon, or maybe they bought ten boxes of your best-selling homemade candle. Take it in stride, Gemini. You deserve the kudos.

Death—Not literal death. Death of a situation. Death of something that once had you cowering under the sheets with stress, fear, regret. It’s gone on too long, and it’s now time to face it—you were not meant to go on and on with old guilt for karmic relationships. In September, just as the seasons fade from one to the other, you must too face a change: home, love, friendship. But it does look as if the Universe is on your side and will shower you with abundance, to help guide you to the next level. So, no fear. You are the proverbial leaf, Gemini. It’s time to let go.

Justice—In October, Gemini might be up against a legal issue, or perhaps it’s more on the karmic side of things. Remember you are innocence. Rebirth. You have the depth of two minds, two hearts, two souls. In other words, you got this. And whoever made you suffer, they’ll get theirs.

The Devil—What a cutie. I just want to hug this guy and bring him cupcakes. In November, someone or something has you feeling chained. Or maybe it’s an old addiction (people can be addicted to many things, not just drugs—sex, fear, food). You have to let it go, Gemini. Those chains are slack enough to escape. Break free! Additional cards suggest you might be dealing with a water-sign male (sometimes acts like a boy) who promised you the world, but only gave you sleepless nights and pennies in the bank. You will get your clarity about this and things will change. Change, chains . . .

Six of Cups—Do you remember the days when you were young and you sat around doing practically nothing, yet you were never bored? Do you remember what you wanted to be when you grew up, what you wanted to do? Astronaut, doctor, actress? Inspire yourself, Gemini. This December, give yourself the gift of innocence and joy, and endless possibilities. It’s all possible, as long as you believe.

Things were up and down and dizzy as a turntable, but you made it, Gemini. I hope 2015 brings you all you wish for, and more. Remember to keep a childish hope, even when things look less than possible. You are brilliant and the true thinkers of the world. Think yourself something great.

Thanks for reading. Peace.

Tarotscope for Taurus, 2015

Taurus 2015

The overall theme for Taurus this year is to keep their feet on the ground and stay close to nature. Sounds doable, Taurus is solid—the first earth sign of the zodiac!

Ten of Rods—In January, stress might be building and causing fault-lines of pressure—like literally, on the spine!—but Taurus can handle this. The thing I’ve always noticed about the Ten of Rods is that, although the load looks heavy, it’s not bricks or steel, it’s only wood. And even if a short stop or two is needed before the destination is reached, it’s totally doable. So, whatever it is that causes this heavy load for Taurus, be it work, love or family, they will find joy in the first month.

Three of Rods—See? The destination has been reached, or at least, it’s in sight. Perhaps in the month of February, Taurus can look forward to success in business, or maybe it’s a relocation they’re after. Either way, this is a positive sign. Let it carry you through some of the more difficult events ahead.

Three of Swords—Another three, but not one of joy. This is a sad card for Taurus in the month of March, but perhaps it was seen coming? If so, the pain will be less, whatever the reason: broken heart, divorce, sickness, loss of a friend. Heartbreak is never easy, but maybe life is leading Taurus to better and happier things.

Knight of Swords—There’s an element of sneakiness about this card, and something tells me it relates to the issue above. Has someone been causing a lot of trouble? Blocking progress? Causing sleepless nights and rivers of tears? In April, instead of tiptoeing through the daisies, Taurus might be tiptoeing through their life, making sure no untrustworthy people are around the next corner. Keep your guard up, there might be a reckless, ruthless person who only wishes you harm. And you deserve better, Taurus.

The Star—In May, you have the forces of an invisible realm keeping you safe. Your angels and spirit guides are sick of seeing you miss out on opportunities of love and happiness. Let these forces guide you to safety; listen to their gentle calling. Spirit is lighting the way toward a path, a brilliant destiny, and you must follow.

Two of Cups—In June love might be coming your way, Taurus. It could be partnerships in business, or perhaps even friendship, but with two additional cards (The Empress and the Ace of Pentacles), it would appear that it’s more the former than the latter. Watch out for unplanned pregnancies if you’re not looking for a visit from the stork! Mostly, watch out for love, because it’s on the way!

Nine of Swords—Just when we thought things were getting good . . . Taurus, in July it looks like someone has you staying up at night, again. I’d say it has something with to do with the same person who pierced your heart in three back in March, but I could be wrong. Let’s see, additional cards reveal deception (The Moon) by a water sign (Knight of Cups). You’ll once again be forced to keep your guard up. You can do this, Taurus!

Eight of Pentacles—It’s August, and you’re on the right path. By keeping your wits about you, it looks like business is on the rise and with a job you genuinely love! You’re heading in the right direction, and no one can stop you from reaching the success you so desire and deserve (except yourself!).

Four of Cups—Is something, or someone, trying to block you on your way across the freeway of glory, Taurus? It could be you, there’s no doubt about it, but it’s not all you. With two additional cards (Five of Swords and Hanged Man), there’s an indication someone else has been trying to win a battle, and it’s time to accept that some things just aren’t worth fighting for. They want to stop your progress, keep you in one place. Is that what you want, Taurus? Retreat, retreat.

The Tower—It can’t get much worse than this, and that’s the proper ‘glass-half-full’ way to look at this card. Divorce, bankruptcy, painful secrets. Okay, so things are total chaos in August and you don’t know which way is up—that means tomorrow you will invent up, and down, and you will find a way to get through this mess. You’re the bull, Taurus, remember that!

The Hermit—To me, this is one of the most spiritual cards in the deck. In September you might be quiet, philosophical, introspective—and who can blame you? When a bird has a broken wing, it scuttles off somewhere to heal. And when it does that, the angels gather round and magic happens. Bones heal; hearts heal . . . Someday your wings will be perfect again, Taurus, and you will fly away.

Four of Wands—In December Taurus can expect beautiful, wondrous things to happen. A move to a new home, romance, marriage? All positive, and all deserved. You have been through the battle, mended yourself, and now it’s time to celebrate with the people you love, and in a space that you love. Truly, this is Taurus’ time to shine, like a bunch of LED Christmas lights tangled up in a giant ball!

Let’s not sugarcoat this, Taurus, your year was as up and down as a seesaw, but you survived in typical, elegant style. Good for you, Taurus. You are one of the most dependable, down-to-earth signs there is, and we depend on you to stay as solid as you are. Enjoy the good moments, and forget about the bad. Was it bad? You made it look easy.

Have a happy 2015!

Tarotscope for Aries in 2015

Aries 2015

The overall theme of the year for Aries will be a rebirth from some of the more difficult aspects of their home, work and family situations, as well as Justice for any slights they have previously dealt with. The Divine is at work, guiding Aries to happier times.

Nine of Swords—In January, Aries will find themselves dealing with a sickness or a stressful situation that has them feeling worn down and possibly at a loss for sleep. Perhaps it is sorrow Aries is dealing with—they have had to bear the weight of someone else’s cruel actions and disappointments for far too long.

Temperance—In February, it would seem that higher forces are at work, guiding Aries away from the troubles they are burdened with. Aries themselves seem determined in finding a more positive mindset to deal with their life, and they will. This month is a good time to find balance and enjoyment; to rest and reenergize.

The High Priestess—By March, intuitive abilities will be in good form, and Aries people would be wise to take a few moments to listen to warnings and advice from their ‘inner pool’ of wisdom and hope. Whether it is the development of psychic abilities, or nudges from their spirit guides, Aries is well protected and surrounded by the invisible realm.

Ten of Pentacles—April brings good news in the form of financial abundance and success in work and family life. Truly, things have turned around and life looks to be on the bloom.

Page of Cups—A message of love is coming for Aries in the month of May. I say this because the two extra cards pulled (Ten of Cups and the Hierophant) were all about joy and marriage. It would seem that, for Aries, happiness is on the rise and maybe with a firm and lasting union (further on down the road). An additional card suggests that perhaps it will be with an earth sign.

Three of Pentacles—In June we are again focusing on matters of work, but it is steady work and that of the artist and craftsperson. Or maybe Aries is considering building a house from the ground up? Either way, it’s good news.

Seven of Cups—By July, intuition is again on the rise, or is it confusion? Has Aries found themselves out of touch with reality with all the celebrating that’s been going on? Take time to be still, listen to that inner wisdom, and see if you can’t make some long-term decisions concerning your house, job—as well as love—and any past hurts that you must now let go of if you want the good times to proceed.

Eight of Rods—In August, Aries might receive a message out of the blue. It can be a text, an email, a phone call or just good old snail mail, but one thing is for sure, news is coming and it could be spectacular.

The Emperor—In September, the status quo nips at your heels once again, perhaps an old partner? He still feels like you’re one of his possessions, and knows how to push all your buttons. Are you going to let him? The good news is, the card I pulled for the overall theme of the year was ‘Justice.’ Have no fear, this tyrant will get his time and trial.

Nine of Rods—Aries, in November it’s time to hold your ground and dispel the naysayers. When someone says, “Pass the turkey,” at the Thanksgiving feast, they might as well be saying, “I hate your dress.” There is much to protect and you owe nothing to those who only wish you harm. Keep your secrets; this is not the time to put trust in faulty sources. After all you’ve been through, this is the time to keep whatever is precious in a padlocked, and emotionally secure, safe.

Three of Cups—Time to celebrate. By December, Aries will feel proud of all they have accomplished throughout 2015, and there will be others around to cheer them on. Or perhaps it’s a wedding they’re going to . . . ? Either way, this is Aries’ time to shine, celebrate, and tip the glass. You’ve made it through another year, and with much to be happy about.

Aries, you have faced your fears, come into your own, rose from the ashes of past hurts and failures, and now you are the perfect example of what your sign stands for: rebirth, fire and a true pioneer.

Seeing through the fog

I'm so happy that it's sunny today! There's nothing that makes me more cheerful than a bright, clear sky. I hate to admit my emotional propensity to the weather, but it's true! I really do love a sunny day, and no matter how I've tried to do reverse psychology on myself, it just doesn't work. Give me that sun! It's an instant mood lifter.

I wanted to talk today about justice, and karmic justice in particular. I was upset about something that's been going on in my life and kept tripping over it until the point where it was ridiculous. Why would this particular person do this to me? What was I going to do about it? How do I stop them from doing it again, and when would I receive retribution for all they've put me through? Well, I laid out a tarot spread and right there in front of me was the answer: I was to do nothing. Absolutely nothing. The person in mind came up in the cards, then some of their less-than-positive actions, and wrapped around it was Judgement and Justice. Divine Justice.

So often we seek revenge for things that have happened to us, forgetting that true payment is coming, and on a much bigger scale. Wash your hands of revenge. It's not up to you, or me.

I truly love that this is how the Universe works. I'm neither sad that I don't get to do my own act of revenge, nor do I feel useless. I'm so happy that it's being dealt with in the proper way. My job is to sit back, have faith, and live my life in the most honest, altruistic way possible. We are to forgive, but not necessarily forget. That's the only way to move on and heal. The problem is, sometimes we get hurt so frequently that it becomes hard to recover. But that's another issue . . .

I'd rather talk about Paris. Dear Paris. They have just recently endured an act of human-forced Justice, and look how much pain it has caused—how much doubt and darkness. We must not enforce our own violent acts of control over others. We must not. So often we are wrong. It takes away the innocence of the world when we do these things. Now Paris, the city of love, is the city of fear and shadows. So sad. I hope they can recover from this and move on and be the beautiful empire of love and light that we so admire. Remember, they gifted to America the Statue of Liberty—a true offering of peace and humanity. That gift has given so many an incredible sense of hope—hope for real justice. From her torch, to the tip of the Eiffel Tower, we send healing to you.

For today's cards, I decided to choose from the Earth Magic Oracle Deck and Doreen Virtue's Angel Tarot Cards. And what I pulled was Fog—Veiled, and Nine of Fire (wands).

It's funny, I often identify the 'Veiled' card with my cat Opera. She's dark and moody and likes to hide and watch things from a distance. How appropriate! I think what this card is telling us is that, no matter how murky and hidden things appear, there is still clarity available to us. We just have to wait and trust. Believe me, I know all too well how hard it is to wait! But when we rush things, and especially in times of uncertainly, we are only asking for less-than our value, or clunkers that require even more time, effort and money. It's all about trust. ETA: I just thought about how I opened this post and thought it was funny that this card appeared. Maybe the universe is telling me to stop being so glum when it's cloudy outside!

The Nine of Fire card tells us not to give up on our important endeavors, because wonderful things are just around the corner. Protect that which you've worked so hard to achieve. Don't give away your most sacred gifts to those who will only destroy them. Be steadfast and willing to stand your ground. If it matters to you, it matters. Period.

Take care, my friends. Peace, love and light.

The Road You're On

I've been looking back at the past months and thinking about what has changed and what hasn't changed, what I wish I would have changed, and what I wish I hadn't changed. Mostly I'm of the sect that if it happened, it was meant to, even if the results were less than enjoyable. But still, I can't get over the fact that I could have done more, worked harder, played my cards differently, and just generally have been more of a master of my circumstance. And yet, if I'm breathing and thinking and in good health, all must have not be that bad.

Last year was one of the most difficult times of my life, and honestly I don't know I got through it. It's still not easy, but what I'm grateful for is the fact that I did get through it and with a massive amount of spiritual knowledge as a result. Twelve months ago I was a baby compared to what I am now. I learned to meditate, to connect with the energy of the spiritual realm and use it for healing. That's some major stuff! One of the biggest things was the understanding that if I can connect with a divine energy source, then life is limitless. That same energy can be used for physical healing and manifestation of real life goals.

But you know what the downside to learning all of this is? You lose friends. You lose family. People  start to think you're looney and they drop away like flies. The thing is, I would have never gone down a spiritual path if things had been all peaches and honey. It was like, sink or swim, and I chose to swim. We're so used to people going on any drug they can find to alleviate and cope with life's many issues, but what we're not used to is someone saying, I meditated and came out with a clearer mind. I cried and was shown love. I prayed and gave up my ego and found out that I had all the joy of the universe right there waiting for me. We almost want each other to suffer and fall and be trampled upon and turn into roadkill and then write a book about it and say, "Don't do what I just did." We'd rather see that, than somebody talking about hooey spiritual stuff. There comes a time when you have to be brave and let it all drop away, all those expectations, all those preset limitations of what should be and what shouldn't be, and just do what you know is right. I mean, hell, my mother gave me a bottle of Vitamin D pills for Christmas and hinted I was crazy because I read tarot. But I didn't retaliate. That's not what I want for her or for me.

You have to go within. Sometimes the outside world doesn't get it. They never will get it. The path that you're on, the road you've traveled, the troubles you've encountered and fought and faced, no one else but you will ever understand. So go within, seek the blessings of the universe, and know that I'm doing the same.

The oracle card I pulled for today is another one from the beautiful Earth Magic Oracle deck by Steven D. Farmer. I love, love this deck and use it daily to heal and to gain wisdom. It's just a wonderful set of cards. What I pulled after a good shuffle was—Meadow. And what Meadow wants to remind us of is to be vulnerable. One of the hardest things to do. If someone hurts you, a natural reaction is to be tougher so that the next strike will have less of a sting. But in reality, your skin can only get so hardened before it begins to crack--and then all that tender flesh is exposed. It's actually much braver to remain vulnerable to others' attacks. An egg yolk is kept safe inside a delicate shell. The shell is hard, but sufficiently protective. If it was too thick, no one would ever be able to make an omelet or a souffle or a chiffon cake, right? So, have a shell, but not too thick. Remain open to hurt, but with the knowledge that you are sufficiently protected by the universe.

Blessings to you, and Peace! Thanks for reading.
